There are just a few coastal lagoons left, most of San Diego has become developed with roads, houses and hotels along our coastline. Learn about the plants and animals that live here. See a short video on watershed issues that was created by talented High Tech High interns. Try out our watershed model, and pick up some docent tricks.

So why are the lagoons so important? They are our bird rest stops,  fish nurseries, and water filtration system.
