Challenge students to think, apply, build, calculate and explain with physical science and engineering projects that excite students and drive helicopter parents crazy. Topics include timing devices, rubber band cars, towers, eggcrafts, pop up books and photography. All projects have been student tested and allow success by students willing to build, experiment and create. Allow that 25% of the population that blanks out on tests to meet success through alternative assessments.

Martin Teachworth

Physics Teacher, La Jolla High School
I am a veteran teacher of 38 years from elementary to teacher training. My emphasis is physics, phun and engineering. If it isn't fun, then it should be and students should think, learn and do while being personally responsible for learning, I have written grants, coached academic teams and encouraged chaos in classrooms by requiring students to solve problems and think. TANSTAAFL!
