Step outside the classroom and discover nature in the schoolyard.
Explore botany, entomology, ornithology and meteorology through hands-on
outdoor activities and a sense of adventure. Learn about schoolyard, nature-
based projects that integrate writing, reading, math and the arts and invite
students to explore trees, bugs, birds and rain puddles in their everyday lives.
Participants will receive a list of picture books, poetry, plays and songs,
categorized by science strands, to use as an inspiration for learning about
nature.
